Once again, its been like forever since I was last on here. But I have good news to post that might make the wait worth it! I'm having a wee baby! :) Right now I'm in 12th week and I go in for my first Ultra Sound in three days! How exciting! Its been a whirlwind so far. I have been suffering the symptoms of early pregnancy; morning sickness (more like ALL DAY sickness), major heartburn, dizziness, high sense of smell, head aches, moodiness, EXTREMELY exhausted, yada yada. But I know in the end all the pain and suffering will have been worth it!
To add to the caos- we are in the process of moving out of our cute little apartment which has been our home for the past two years :( But its time to move on to a new chapter in our lives. Aaron is leaving after finals next month and will be in Pittsburg until I fly out there to meet him in mid May. I will be out there with him until about a month before our due date when I will fly back home to Utah and hang out until its time to welcome our little one. Aaron will fly here to be there as well for the big day :) Then I will be so sad to say goodbye to Aaron again because he has to go to Chicago for his 3 month internship. It will be so hard to be apart for those three months but its a small sacrifice for our future.

Life as I know it...

Well, as usual it was been a while since I was last on this thing. It has been eventful the past couple of months. In November Aaron a I went on a fabulous cruise over Thanksgiving to the Caribbean! It was my first time in the Caribbean! We had a room with a Balcony and all the ice cream we could ever want! It was awesome! We had four stops; the first one was at a tiny private island owned by the cruise line- Princess Cays, the second was Saint Marteen- we were on the Dutch side, the third was Saint Thomas, and the fourth and last and my FAVORITE was Turks and Caicos!!! All of the stops were beautiful but I think that our last stop was the best. The water was crystal clear and it wasn't as crowded as the other stops. Anyway, Ill probably post some of those pics one of these days.
December was crazy as usual! Christmas time is my favorite time of year but I always feel like it goes by so darn fast! I get all hyped and then all of the sudden Christmas has come and gone. It doesn't help that our families (mine and Aaron's) live 2 minutes apart from each other. If there isn't something going on at one house there is at the other- we literally wore our selves out going back and fourth. But nonetheless I still love it! Im the type of person who just loves the family gatherings and parties!!! I love it all!!! Aaron and I were extremely blessed this year with everything that has gone on. Aaron just started his Winter semester at BYU and I recently finished my makeup course and am now a certified makeup artist!!! Yay! Now Im just looking for a job and Aaron is set on going out again this summer to sell.
Oh, I also recently found out that I have Celiacs disease- so my diet has completely changed! But its probably good for me. I now have to eat much healthier- no more pillsburry cookies :( but I did find a really good Gluten Free chocolate chip cookie recipe that I have made a few times already. I took them to some parties and family gatherings and they were gobbled up so quick- no one could tell the difference. As long as I have cookies I can eat I am Bueno!
My brother Ward and his wife Amber found out that they are expecting a baby! So happy for them! And to top it off they are going through the temple to be sealed later this month!!! I havent seen them since the end of this last summer so it will be fun for them to fly home so that we can spend some time with them!
Anyway, I am so happy and blessed! Aaron is wonderful even at the times when I might not be. ha! But we get by and really dont need anything- we are blessed!

We have officially been back from Atlanta for about two months now and I couldnt be more happy to be home! Our little apartment in Provo was never more welcoming. It is just so nice to have your own furniture and belongings about you. I love our little cozy place! :)
The last month that we spent in Atlanta was proabanly the best month there. We had a day boating with the team and it really was a nice break for the summer. It was the only real summer activity that we had. So of course I took some pics and videos- Ill be posting those dont you worry ;) The ride home was a lot of fun. We stopped by Ward and Ambers place in Missouri and spent a couple of nights there! They are out in the boonies and only ten minutes to Adam-ondi-ahman. So of course we went to check it out. We also went to Liberty jail where Joseph Smith spent some time. I dont need to get into the details of that story. Butbasically, we had a good time.

Since we have been home we have been oober busy! Aaron started school and has been excelling as he always does and I am super excited to be starting makeup artistry school on the 11th!!! I will be going to school until the first week of December and then I will officially be a PROFESSIONAL makeup artist!!!! So if you are reading this and you or someone you know is in need of a makeup artist for like senior portrait or wedding/engagement pics yada yada... Let me know! I would live to help out- for a very minimal fee that is ;) But seriosly... Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, we celebrated my dads bday and then this past week we celebrated my 23rd birthday! Aaron took me up the Provo Canyon where we went on a walk and enjoyed the seasonal colors and beautiful weather. Then we went to Tucano's and we saw the movie Easy A. Which was pretty good. The following day I met up with some friends; Natasha & Bridger, Allyse & Blake, and Marcie & Dave at Wingers. Its kinda a tradition I've made each year for my bday. Good times. Then I also celebrated two more times with my family and Aarons family! My mom even got me a princess pinata (cant spell) for my family party! I was super spoiled for my bday! I am one lucky girl to have such awesome friends and family! It means so much to me and I couldn't have had a better birthday! Thanks to everyone for making it so wonderful! Enjoy the pics my peeps!

Back to Altanta again..

So, it was nice to get to go home for a couple of weeks to watch my parents house and the dog (my widdle cozy!)while the parentals traveled the world. I did miss Aaron oh so very much though! A lot happened while I was there. I already posted some pics I took while I was there. But I have more Ill be posting as soon as they are finished being edited. My sister Camille flew in the second week I was there to spend some time with me and my other sister, Celeste. We had a good time- we got massages, manicures, pedicures, Frozen Yogurt and spent some good quality time together. Ward and Amber (and new dog pal Kai) packed up all their stuff and headed on their new adventure to Missouri where they will be living for the next year or so. Leslea, Celeste, Jesh, Katrice and I all helped them get on their way. Its always sad when you have to say goodbye, even if it is only temporarily.
I also was able to spend some time with my good pals Allyse, Nina, and Nick Chow Pow! Nick went out to dinner with me and Celeste- in honor of nicks ancestors we went to PF Changs! haha! We chose PF Changs also because they have a large gluten free menu and Celeste just recently found out that she has celiacs disease. ;) The next week Allyse, Nina, Chow, and myself all met up for breakfast at Kneaders in Draper! The french toast was so delightful as usual. We enjoyed ourselves!
Anyway, I have been back in ATL for the past three days and couldn't be happier to be back with my love again. He is out working now while I don't know what to do with my time. I just finished doing Turbo Jam and now I'm about to get ready for the day. I recently decided that I need to lose like 100 lbs or so because I feel like a freakin' whale now days. So I threw out all the fatty food in my fridge and bought all healthy fresh foods. I looked up a few recipes online that I am so excited to try out! So hopefully I can keep motivated and start seeing a difference in the way my clothes fit. Root for me, will ya?

I am really trying to keep this blog updated now so that I can make up for all the time I didnt keep it up to date. So I just flew into Utah this morning from Atlanta. Im here to watch my parent's dog while they travel Europe. Poor parents... Anyway, I was really sad to leave Aaron even if it is only for two weeks. I mean, I did wait for him for two years! But after that I dont like being away from him for any amount of time. In my mind I already served my time and I dont want to go through that again.

Yesterday was the 4th of July and since we were in Atlanta we were not familiar with the area and where to go to celebrate our nations birthday. I found this cool place called Rock Mountain Park not too far from where we are living. It is literally this HUGE rock that is the size of a mountain. On the side of it there is a carving of some general from Georgia from the Civil War. Its kinda an attraction spot so there is a little village park area below the rock mtn. with tons of little shops and bbq food places and a rope course and a area to golf. And at the end of each night they have a lazer show on the side of the mountain. It sounds pretty fun right? At least thats what I thought. A whole group of us went there around 3 to try to beat the croud and hopefully get a pot reserved for our group at a bbq area or somewhere on the grass for the Lazer and firework show at night. But even at 2 in the afternoon the traffic was horrible and the entire park was filled. There wasnt a spot left on the grass for us to sit and in order to do any of the activities there (rope course, golfing, take the tram up the mountain, ect.) you had to buy some sort of day pass for like $40 a person and a two hour wait to do anything! SO NOT WORTH IT! We were bored out of our minds and to make matters worse it was so so so hot! Even in the sade I felt like I was dying of heat stroke. The last thing we wanted to do was stand around in a huge croud of people in the blazing heat until 9:30 just to watch the fireworks. So all of us decided to head back home and get some food then hang out at the pool and maybe find some fireworks near by when it got dark. But of course we had to snap some quick pics before we left. I was able to get a video of John (the office manager), Chad (Stacy's husband), and Aaron reinacting Johns son getting a splinter in his foot. They actually had to hold him down and use tweezers to get it out! Poor kid! He was screaming crying and after seeing how big the splinter was I dont blame the kid. I would have cried my eyes out too! Anyway, the Rock Mountain park was fun while it lasted. It was actually really cool! Im sure in other circumstances we would have had a great time but it was just too crouded for us. Aaron and I went to Wild Buffalo Wings and then got milkshakes afterwards then went to pool with everyone until it got dark. Unfortunately we didnt get to see any fireworks but Aaron and I had a fun time together and thats all that really counts. :)

Since last year....

I understand that it has literally been almost a year since I last updated my blog and there is just WAY too much to write if I were to cover everything that has happened since then. So Im just going to sum things up and bring it to the present. :)

A year ago when we finished up with selling in Philidelphia we found ourselves a cute little apartment close to campus and have been living there ever since. Aaron did very well this last semester and I continued working at Shoots Chinese Cuisine three days out of the week. We celebrated our first anniversary together and were pleased to add two new members to my family; Amber (who married my brother ward), and Eva (My newest niece. Damon and Leslea's).

Now Aarons sister Tiffany is having a baby and is due in September :) This will be the first nephue on Aarons side of the family!!! We are so excited!

So that sums up all the basics of what this last year has entailed. But to bring things to the present....

In April, just after Aaron finished his finals, we headed out for our newest adventure to sell alarms with Pinnicle in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It only took us two days to get there and when we arrived we were happy to see that our apartments were so nice :) I hurried and applied for jobs and quickly was hired to work at OutBack Steakhouse just accross the street from our apartments. Unfortunately we had to transfer our office to Altanta, Georgia just three weeks later due to some attorney general stuff and our offices selling liceneses. So once again we packed up and headed out to Altanta!

In wasnt as smooth of a transition as the first because everything was orgnized at the last minute. When we got to Atlanta we couldnt move into our apartments for another few days and had to stay at a hotel for the weekend. When we were able to get into our apartments we had to wait for our rented furnitureto arrive for a full week! The apartment was completely barren! We ate on the floor, slept on the floor, sat on the floor. We used all my clothes from my suitcase as padding for a bed! When our furniture came it was one of the happies moments in my life! And, with the humidity here there are SO SO many bugs! I kill like 30 centipedes a day in our apartment. So anyway, now here we are in Georgia having a great time! Oh, and I have to mention that we are the ONLY white people in our complex. hahaha! But it has still been a great experience non-the-less.

Aaron wakes up and goes to the gym nearly every morning and then eats a lunch and heads out to work. He works outside ALL day in the heat! Door to door, every day, ALL day! Then he comes home, eats dinner, and goes to bed. I dont know how he does it all! He is so driven! Right now he is #3 in our office for his number of sales. He is so amazing and succeeds at all that he strives for. I am so proud to have him as mine!

I, on the other hand, dont have a lot to do with my time since we arrived here. Luckily my friend Natasha is out here again this year so we keep eachother company along with all the other wives who are here with their selling husbands. Ill name a few; Amber, Marcie, Hillary, Stacy(Natasha's sister), Rozalyn, Whitney, Kelly, Morgan, and a few girlfriends here and there who fly out to see their guys. My brother Ward and his wife Amber were also out here for the first couple of weeks and decided to leave after a short while. I was sad but I had to go on with my summer time life and make due.

We (us wives) have fun- and try to entertain ourselves while spending the least amount of money as possible. We go to the pool, we play cards, stop by the grocery store at least twice a week.... Most of the time we have to carpool because the guys take the cars and rotate each week when they go out to sell.

I have made some lil friends out here also :) Some of the black kids here love me because I play with them when Im at the pool. Marcie has a little boy named Carson along with her step daughter named Reese. They are 3 and 4, Carson is the older one. They are so cute and love to play games when we are at the pool. And thats how it started..Amber and I were having fun with Carson and Reese and some of the other kids at the pool wanted to join us... and since we go to the pool like every day this became routine. Yada yada... And before I knew it I was getting knocks on my door from all the neighborhood kids asking me to come play with them! haha! My favorite friend is little Madison. He is 5 and was actually the first kid to come join our pool games! Him and Carson hit it off! Madison has an older sister Named Mia, 8, who is like his constant baby sitter. Then she has her best friend Jordan and her older brother Jaden, 10. They are my new possie.... My buds!

Last week our friend, Emily, from home flew out to ATL to see her husband who is doing some sort of internship at Georgia Tech. So Natasha, Stacy, and I drove out to the city to pick her up and have a fun day together. We went to the cheesecake factory where stacy decided to taste a bite of Natasha's Hibachi steak and bit into a huge bolt that was embeded in the pice of steak! We immidiatley notified the waiter who then notified the Restaurant manager.. yada yada. It was funny but crazy also.

After getting a massive discount on the check we went to the coke factory downtown. It wasnt as cool as I thought it would be but we still had a good time in our own way! I broke my camera trying to hurry to take a pic with the coke-a-cola bear and I dropped it :( They had a live DJ outside of the factory and we got our grove on as we left.

Just a few days after that Aaron and I were getting ready for our date night (every Sat night is date night) and we got a call from some friends from our ward in Provo. Ephraim and Steffi were on a lay over in Atlanta on their way to Germany to see their families. They were staying for the night so we went out to get them from the airport and had some dinner. When we went to find them a hotel there were non that had any vacantcies so we brought them back to our little apartment and made a bed out of the couch cussions for them. The next morning we all went to Wild Buffalo Wings to watch the Germany vs. England World Cup watch. Germany won!!! Then we got them ready and left to take them to the airport. To make a long story short, we got them there too late and they missed their flight so we were lucky enough to spend another fun night playing games with our friends! It was a fun time! And we were glad to see some friends from home! But luckily they made their flight the next day!

Today myself, and all the wives went to the Atlanta Zoo! It was so much fun! We saw all the animals and gave Miley Cyrus a run for her money when we found a giant bird nest and showed her what it means 'To Not Be Tamed". haha! We had a good time! The Atlanta Zoo isnt as big as the Phili Zoo was but it still had its perks. haha- get it.... Perks? haha!

So this sums everything up and brings it to the present. Ill do my best to keep this updated but my comp is retarded so I have to use other sources in the mean time. CIAO!!!

We're Home/ My birthday!

So, I havent updated this in a lil while because I've been pretty busy. We got home on Aug. 25th and we moved right into our new apartment in Provo. I love love love our new place! We got a new couch and bed frame and they fit perfectly into our little place. Aaron started school again at BYU and I went back to work at Shoots Chinese Cuisine. Things are going good :)

This past thursday, Sep.24, was my birthday and if you know me I tend to celebrate all week long! On thursday night we met up with most of my good friends- Aaron, Allyse, Blake, Natasha, Whitney, Mike, Hailie, Chow, Ciera, Nikki, Lohren, and tyson- at Wingers Diner in Orem. It was so much fun being able to munch and mingle with everyone! Nikki got me the cutest shirt and necholas! Natasha got me a cute headband and some sexy nail polish! And Ciera got me a delicious smelling candle! Then the next day, Friday the 25th, Aaron took me out to Park City to eat at this insanely nice japanese restaraunt! He got me a brand new Guess Watch ( SO SO CUTE) and then he took me to the Guess outlet up in PC just in case I wanted to exchange the watch for a different one. But I liked the one he picked the best! On our way back home we drove up to Provo Point up at the top of the mountain and enjoyed the beautiful scenery! Overall, I pretty much had the best birthday ever! I love my friends, family, and I love my husband! I am one lucky girl! :)

Aarons First NYC Adventure

It has been a little while since I last wrote on here. Im going to have to go back a few weeks and cover what has been going on from there. A couple of Sundays ago Aaron and myself had the priveledge of joining natasha and bridger on a trip to the big apple. Now, I know that this is not anything super new since I have already been there a couple of times. But for Natasha, Bridger, and Aaron this was their first. :)

The Weather wasn't as nice as it was the last time that I went mainly just because it was so dang hot and humid this time around. We were sweating our little buns off! We went on a bike ride through Central Park and took a ride on the Sub and then we had a nice dinner in Time Square. We did a lot of walking and saw some neat stuff. We were all seriously dying of heat though. But none the less, we ended up having a good time. Here are some pics of our lil escapade... enjoy :)

Atlanitc City

So, Aaron and I spontaneously decided to head out to Atlantic City, New Jersey this past weekend and it was a lot of fun! It is honestly like Vegas on a boardwalk. There were so many people there and it was so so humid. We lounged at the beach for a lil while and then we went for a walk up the boardwalk. There are so many shops along the way and even a little carnival area with rides and games. Unfortunately the ferris-wheel wasn't open so we didn't get to take a ride. But we did get some ice cream! :) Yummy for our tummies! It was definitely a fun way to spend our time together!

The 4th of July!

The 4th of July was a lot of fun this year. Aaron and I have been a thing since we were in the 8th grade, which would put our relationship at out 7 years now. As we were enjoying the fireworks on the night of the 4th we realized that this was the first 4th of July that we have EVER spent together. CRAZY! Some how over the years we managed to either be broken up or apart each year on the 4th. So this was kinda monumental for both of us.
But anyway, the day started out kinda slow. Aaron left to start working for the day (Yes, they even work on Holidays) and I headed out to see a parade with some of the other APX wives. Celeste, Kynzie, Natasha, Stacy, and myself drove out to a little town nearby called Norristown. The parade was hilarious! I dont know if the parades in Utah are out of the ordinary- but in comparison to this one they are amazing! haha! The parade consisted of a septa bus (which is the bus tranportation here), the city fire department, a street sweeper, two clowns, and a few random cars with local figures. haha! None the less, we had a good time! It was almost better just because it was so bad. Natasha and I showed our patriotism with some american flags.
After that I had to work in the office until the guys finished selling. Since they didnt have a set time that they were going to be getting off, I was worried that Aarons and my 4th was going to consist of no fireworks or festivities :( Luckily they were able to be home by 8 and Aaron, myself, and our friends Ashley and Colt headed out to the city where we wanted to see the fireworks at the Philadelphia Art Museum.
The Traffic was insane and the parking was even worse. We figured that we would be better off finding a little park with a view and watching from there than walking a long long distance to the museum, and thats just what we did. The park was located in the middle of a kinda ghetto neighborhood on a hill on the opposite side of the railroad from the museum. From there we had an awesome view of the city and of the museum. The crowd there was colorful to say the leaste! Just sitting 20 feet from us on one side were a circle of college kids hanging out getting drunk and passing around their doobies along with smoking their Hooka pipes. Then on the other side was a number of different families of many ethnicities. There were a few scattered couples laying on their blankets and we could hear a group of black women singing the national anthem. There were random pops and explosions of fireworks every now and then all around us.
While we waited for the real fireworks to start it wasnt very hard to find some entertainment- while we were people watching, someone who had been drinking a little too much had lit a fire work accross the street from us just around 100 yards from where we were sitting and had started a seemingly small fire. But in a matter of seconds the fire caught the surounding dry grass and trees. haha! It actually grew into a large fire extremely fast and the crowd started growing around it. Within minutes the fire department was there and took care of it before it became a full blown hasard. haha! It was actually pretty funny and made the night quite memorable. When were weren't people watching we played 20 questions and had some fun conversations. Good times!
When the firewroks finally started it was around 10:45 and we were all exhausted. But we stayed and enjoyed the loud pops and beautiful colors of the show and remembered how grateful we are to live in such a wonderful place where we can be free. Being surrounded by all of those "colorful" people from all different races just confirmed that this country belongs to everyone and thats what makes it so beautiful. The end :)

GIRLS WEEK on the East Coast!

Girls week with my mom, and sisters Camille and Celeste was AMAZING! It was so so much fun and I was so happy to see some familiar faces and be able to spend time with my family! We spent the first day out here in Philly :) I drove them to the Philadelphia Art Museum where we took some pics with the "Rocky" statue and filmed ourselves running up the famous stairs. But just before we did that, we could'nt resist taking some pics with an old statue of a naked man on the fountain just across the street from the museum. It got a little heated. Even Miki, my mom, took a few. That is so rare!
It was a good time :) From there we took a tour through the art museum. It is insane. There are so many things to look at and we barely had enough time to get the upper floor. The museum is huge and so beautiful! After that we headed over to Ruths Chris Steak House and treated ourselves to some good food. I just loved being able to chat with the girls!
The next morning we headed off to NYC on a train- business class (which apparently everyone gets) we thought we were getting the special treatment. haha! I was the only one who managed to stay awake. I have a pic of camille asleep, my mom probably wouldn't want me to post the one of her, and I had the BEST pic of celeste asleep but she erased it before I could even upload it. I was SO SO MAD! Anyway, once we arrived at Penn station at Madison Square Garden we called for a taxi and headed to our hotel which was located right smack dab in the middle of time square. Our hotel was literally inside of one of the jumbo screens. I loved it! Each night we ate at the restaurant located in our hotel- the food was delicious and the view wasn't too shabby either. We were dinning with a 360 view of time square. We spent our first day in the Big Apple exploring Time Square and in the evening we headed to the Opera house to see the musical "South Pacific". It was so good! It would have been even better had there not been a woman sitting on the row just in front of us who had drenched herself in AVON perfume! We had to breath that scent in the entire time. Camille nearly threw up and I was just trying so hard to ignore it. But overall the play was fantastic!
The next morning we woke up bright and early to meet our private chauffeur, Bryan, outside our hotel. He was a really cool guy who was born and raised in NY so he knew all the sites we should see that you cant see on a tour. On our way to our first destination he drove past the hospital which was where the majority of the injured people went on 911. Across the street from the hospital there was a fence with tiles honoring those who passed away on that tragic day. It was extremely moving to stop and read each tile and read the names of real people who gave their lives that day. Some were even children who were victims on the planes or in the day care at the trade centers. It was so sad.
On a better note, we then went to the the mall on Pier 17 and did a lil shopping. At the end of the pier we had an awesome view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Since we didn't have time to eat breakfast that morning, I was starving and so was everyone else. We grabbed a quick bite before heading off to the site at 911. Once we got there it was hard to see the actual site because of all the construction going on so we peaked through some small holes in the fence to get a tiny view. So much has changed since I last saw it. They used to have a little memorial outside of the site but now they are solely dedicated to rebuilding and when they finish they are going to have a memorial museum that people will be able to go to. I'm sure that wont be finished for a few more years. But across the street from the site there was a big piece of Metal which was one of the last pieces of the 911 wreckage. It was left in the shape of a cross, on it there is still a piece of melted metal hanging from the top left corner. The cross will be put in the 911 memorial museum once it is constructed. We were lucky enough to run into some fire fighters right there at the sight just as they were leaving for a job. They were hurrying but we got to snap a couple of pics with the truck parked just next to the cross. It was a reminder of the sad events that happened right there just a few years ago.
After that, Bryan took us to a park with a far view of the Statue of Liberty. Since it was so rainy outside we didn't spend a lot of time embracing the view. We snapped a few pics and headed off to our next location. Next up was the Trinity Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the city, which was so ornate and beautiful. The details on the walls and windows are always so mind boggling to me! Around the corner from the church there was the first sky scrapper ever built in NYC. Although now days the tallest buildings in the city could double or even tripple this one, at the time it was built it was the tallest building in the world. It was a beautiful building.
The vibes in New york are so cool- it kinda wakes you up and makes you want to move. I can see why they call it the city that never sleeps. Anyway, we saw the big bull on Wall Street which has been in a few movies. The first one to come to mind is Hitch-( the part where the jerk guy gets punched out and he lands right under the bulls butt. ) There is actually a cool story behind the bull and how it got there but it has to do with the stock market and competitors and I know that if I retold the story I would just slaughter it. Obviously I don't know anything about that kind of thing. So Ill have to look into it again and get the story right before I go into the details. I took a few pictures but it was hard to get a good one because there was a crowd of people who couldn't speak English all crowded around it. The pictures that i have will just have to do I guess.
After that we headed to China Town to get some purses! That was an adventure in itself. haha! Since technically its illegal for them to sell us the fake designer bags- its all like an underground thing. We had to use code words to the sales guys like " Can you take us BEHIND THE WALL?" that's code for "Show the the fake purses!" haha! It took us a little longer than we had anticipated to get our bags just because at first everyone was denying us when we would ask. We just kept trying though and finally one of the stores we went in came around. There was the cutest little couple working and they were so happy to help us. They explained to us that just 20 mins before we got there, an undercover cop had come through the area trying to catch any of them in the act of selling the fake bags. We then realized that was the reason we had been so hard to get the bags at the other stores near bye. I wish I had a picture of our funny Chinese bag salesman friends but Camille has the only one and I still haven't gotten it from her. China town was such an adventure!
Thanks to my mom and to our chauffeur Bryan we had a wonderful time in NY! Bryan knew all the history behind everything and was very informative. He also is in a band- we jammed out to his music. I was pleasantly surprised!
By the time we got back that night we were all exhausted! Camille and I hit up time square one more time and got ourselves the classic I LOVE NY t-shirts. We just couldn't get enough on New york! We were so sad to leave :(
My sisters last day on the east coast turned out to not be they're last day after all. haha! I insisted on taking them to the Liberty Bell on the way to the airport which actually caused them to miss their flight. Oopsy! But we got to see where our founding fathers signed the declaration of independence and touch the same buildings that they once roamed within. :) Thanks to me, we were able to see and feel the history behind this great nation!
I stayed the night with them at the Marriott hotel at the airport and we spent one more night together :) I was happy because that happened to be the night that Aaron had to spend in Delaware and I would have spent the night alone at our apartment otherwise.
The next morning was so sad for me because I had to say goodbye to my mom and sisters (tears)...
Girls week was AWESOME and I cant wait for the next one! I hope that it becomes a tradition for us! Thank you mom for planning everything and making it such a memorable time! xoxox!

The Amish....

About a week after we arrived here in Philly we decided to visit a near by Amish community. I have always been fascinated with the Amish people and it has been a life long goal to see them in action. So thats just what we did! It wasnt as exciting as I expected it to be but it still was a little bit of a rush. Bridger was the only one brave enough to actually get out of the car and talk to one of them. I just felt too bad to go up to one of them in fear of making them feel like I was treated them like they were a show or something. Here are some pics and videos of our Amish friends :)

The Philadelphia Zoo

A few weeks ago my beloved friend Natasha and myself went to the zoo here in Philli. It was so much fun! Did you know that the Philadelphia zoo was the first zoo in the USA? I bet you didnt :) These are the kinds of things that you can learn when you visit the zoo. We saw all of the animals in their, not so natural, habitats and we even had a run in with a wild peacock! WOW! To say the least, it was a very adventurous day for both of us! I have some videos Id like to post so hopefully they work.....

Our Adventures in Philli :)

So as I said earlier in one of my previous blogs, Aaron and I moved to philli for the summer. So far its been so much fun! The drive took us three whole days to get here and I dont think I have ever been so happy to finally reach any destination, and Im pretty sure Aaron would second that.. I was so sick of being in the car and towards the end of the drive I started to get kinda grouchy. We followed our friends Bridger and Natasha all the way here. They were the ones with the GPS and without them Im sure we would have been lost for sure. Bridger has an obsession with hunting and just had to stop at nearly every Cabella's on the way here so we got some nifty pics at some of our stops. I didnt take a lot but Im sure Ill take a lot more on the way home.
Once we got here things were fine. Our aparment is really nice compared to what we were living in when we were in provo so both Aaron and I were excited to get moved in... well kinda moved in. We only brought the bare essentials here since we didnt have a lot of room in our car. I usually like to go all out with decorating so its been a little bit of an adjustment to just have bare white walls and no pictures or anything. It was kinda depressing for me at first but now that I have made some new girlfriends with the other APX wives Im not spending so much time alone in my boring apartment- its been a lot less depressing. Its actually been kinda fun! When Im not working in the office Im out and about with the lil wivesies. As a matter of fact, I have a pic of all the Desperate APX wives :) Well almost all of them. There are a few missing. But the pic was taken at one of the company get togethers while all of the boys were playing their home run derby. All of us girlies were sitting in the dug out supporting. :) Im at the very end of the row in th pic. There are also some pics of Aaron at home base showin all the guys whats up.

First Things First... Our honeymoon

I finally figured out how to get all my pics from my camera transferred onto my computer! And these pics go way back to before Aaron and I were married. So I want to put all of them on here but I guess that I have to start at the begining. So these first pics are from our honeymoon!

Our wedding was amazing and then our wedding night was so much fun ;) haha! We didnt get to eat anything at our reception because we were too busy talking with the guests and having a good time. By the time that everyone had left the food had already been cleaned up. So we were starving, of course, and it was after 10 when we left the reception so all of the restaraunts were closed..... Except Village Inn! haha! We shared an omlett and our waiter gave us two free pieces of pie since it was our wedding night. It couldnt get any better than that! We Spent our first night in downtown Salt Lake and the Hotel Monico. It was so nice! They gave us a complimentary bottle of Sparkling Cider, which we saved for later in our honey moon.
The next day ( Dec. 28) we drove out to provo and spent the next night in our very own apartment which was fun because it was "our" apartment. Then the following morning (Dec.29) we headed up to midway, UT. The drive was beautiful in the middle of the winter. We passed by Deer Creek and it was all covered with ice. Everything was a winter wonderland and we were all cozied up in my warm car listening to Michael Jackson and enjoying the scenery!
We arrived at the Homestead and headed to our cute Honeymoon suite. There are some pics of our room and the room number. We Spent the next two nights there. It was so cozy in our lil room and each time I looked out the window there were deer walking around the lot (also shown in the pics). We went to the crater which is a natural hot springs located inside of the crater thing. Its pretty cool. The water there is so clear and you can see all the way to the bottom. Its really deep! A lot of people go there so go Deep water diving. But Aaron and I are more of the floater types. haha! We just bobbed around and had a good time :)
On Dec. 31 we changed locations for the last time and headed to our Honeymoon suite at the Johnson Mill. But before heading over there we decided to go sledding at Soldiers Hollow! So So much fun! We were cruisin down the hill so fast! Then we would hook our tubes back onto the line and it would pull us right back up to the top again. Sleding is my favortie winter sport for sure.
So after that, we headed back to the Johnson Mill and we had some warm honey oatmeal and cleaned up. Since it was new years eve we headed to the town and got some dinner at one of the nicer places up there. It was really good! I got a pulled pork sandwhich and Aaron had a french dip :) After our delightful meal we headed back to our Suite. It was AMAZING! I felt like a princess there. It was a cozy lil cabin and was decorated so nice. Definitly the best way to spend New Years! We opened our bottle of sparkling cider and kicked back by the fireplace while we watched a movie. It wasnt until a little while later when we discovered that we werent alone in the room. I noticed a tiny shadow running accross the floor from the bathroom area to under the coffee table. I immediatley jumped up and demanded that aaron lift up the table to confirm I wasnt just seeing things. He was pretty scared, but being the man he is he tip toed over to the table and slowly lifted it up. The little mouse came running out as fast as it could and ran behind the Armoure. haha! Aaron and I both jumped up on the couch and were freeking out! It was pretty funny and definitly unforgettable. The guy at the desk brought up some mouse traps- that was the leaste that they could do- and we set three up in different areas around the suite.
Around 4 A.M. we woke up to the "SNAP" of one of the mouse traps going off. Aaron put his glasses on and went to check on the status- sure enough there wasnt just one mouse caught but two of the mouse traps had mice in them. EW! haha! It didnt ruin our night but it did add a little flavor! We recieved a gift card for another free nights stay which we can redeem anytime before Dec 31, 2009.
Our honeymoon wasnt perfect but I wouldnt have had it any other way! I couldnt have been more happy than I was being there with Aaron :)

Life... "Philly Style"!

So I havent been on here for a while and Im still trying to learn how to use this blogg site. Thanks to my sister Camille I have a decent looking page but eventually I will be able to manage this on my own and Ill keep it updated. :) So a lot has happened since I last wrote on here... Aaron decided to quit the BYU Soccer team and work summer sales instead. So we moved all of our stuff into a storage unit and headed accross the country to Philadelphia, PA. It has definitly been a new experience but so far its been a good time. Aaron has exceeded everyones expectations with his sales and is kickin butt to say the leaste! Im so proud of him. I dont have any pics saved on my computer yet of our adventures since we arrived but I will take care of that later. However, I do have this cool pic of us on Brian's (Aarons Dad) motorcycle just days before we headed out here! We are so hardcore!

We were married on Dec. 27, 2008 :) One of the best days of my life Im sure. I am so happy to be with my best friend for all time and eternity. He is so good to me and I look up to him for all of his amazing qualities. We have a lot ahead of us and Im excited to see what lies in our future together. Here are some of our wedding pics. So, I finally decided to join the world of blogging. It just seems like the thing to do when you are married or have kids. haha! Aaron and I were just married three and a half weeks ago and are adjusting to the married life. It is an adventure.... Not always the fairytale I imagined it would be, but we are still very in love and happy.
